Thruxton 2nd – 3rd September 2017

Our Thruxton weekend will go down in memory for 12 hours of incessant heavy rain and a circuit that became progressively undriveable with our second race stopped early because of the conditions. Not a good end to the season. A small grid of just 11 cars, times to match the weather conditions and a paddock rapidly emptying as fellow competitors dashed home. There may have been a few spectators but it was hard to see through the spray and once again the RNR awning became a respite for our hardy drivers. The cars ran well with Nigel Jenkins in his 355 picking up a class win and overall second.
